Padme is in Room 202, knitting. Or, as they called it on her world, 'needle weaving'. Her mother would laugh to see her like this. She had never been the domestic type

Anakin walks into room 202. He's had another shift out on patrol...the drudgery is, well, getting to be old. I mean...he's not tracking down Dooku and the Separatist, he's just walking in circles, waiting for things to happen. That's no fun!
Anyhow...he walks in and notices Padme...doing something with needles and yarn. Something that he has never really had to observe, at least that he can recall. So, he walks over to Padme and puts an arm around her. "Hello, Padme. What're you doing?"
Oh, yes. And there's a kiss on the cheek, since she's looking at what she's knitting.
She looks up at him and smiles back. "I can't have you getting sick. Though now that the food supply is better, it's less of a risk now." She'd had a few colds her first few months here, but that hasn't happened in a long time. She moves over on the sofa so he can sit beside her.
Anakin sits down, with a nice, contented smile. He's with his wife. Nothing is going to go wrong while he's here. "I wouldn't want to be sick, now, would I?" A sort of smile emerges on his face. "After all, then I'd be stuck in here with you..." Pause. "What was that about me not wanting to be sick?" The look on his face should tell you that he's having fun.
She laughs. "Well, it woudldn't be so bad since you have someone to take care of you, I suppose. But you're probably more fun when you're well." She pokes him in the side, gently.
"It's going well," she says, relief evident in her voice. "I think we're going to have a good cycle of growth and harvest eventually, if everyone keeps working at it." She leans her head against Anakin's shoulder. "It's good to work in the earth, even if it's just a small patch of it."
Anakin puts his arm around Padme, and smiles as she leans on him. "I'm glad you can do that." And a deep sigh. "I just wish there was more I could do to...you know, make this a better place."
"I think you'll find something to do eventually. It took a long time for me, after all." She'd been alone, after all, alone and pining for a world she'd never see again.
"And I couldn't find anything till you found me," she says softly.
Anakin nods. "I know. It's just...it's like nothing happens here." Well, business has been slow. "And nobody knows where Grievous went to, either." Much grumbling there.
Anyhow...he walks in and notices Padme...doing something with needles and yarn. Something that he has never really had to observe, at least that he can recall. So, he walks over to Padme and puts an arm around her. "Hello, Padme. What're you doing?"

She has to take care of him. "There's precious little in the way of Jedi robes on this world. Eventually, they'll wear out."
She's trying to prevent that happening. She likes the robes, after all.

She closes her eyes, her fingers holding the yarn she's working on in place.

She smiles down at the knitting in her hands. "My mother would laugh at me if she could see me now."
