If you walk into the Engineering room today, you might notice the shiny little robot sitting at a table, with a small plasma welder in hand, fixing up some minor damage to himself from normal wear and tear, and a pile of schematics and designs in front of him (well, a new one, at any rate).

Rattrap makes it a point to do maintenance on himself at least once a month, if only to ensure he stays just as shiny and pretty as ever.
