It's that time of the week again.

The smell of that delicious caffienated beverage wafts from 202, enticing one and all to the common apartment.

This week's musical theme is classical.

Ah. Not sludge. Love.

Thus, there is a Zuko.

"Hey, Zuko," she says, pouring him a cup of coffee and handing it to him. "How're things?"

Tea good. Coffee better.

"Mppgh." He's drinking. "...m'okay?"

Faye nods. "I'm glad to hear it."

He and Faye are on talking terms, yay. Faye is relieved.

Zuko holds grudges like whoa?

Drinky.

"...what?" Did he do something to make you happy Faye? He looks -- uh, bewildered.

[burbonmilkshake]

"I thought I'd made you angry after the last time we'd talked, that's all," she says, looking at her hands.

[princeinexile]

"...oh." He shrugs once, and then looks away. "Everybody makes me angry these days. Don't worry about it."

[burbonmilkshake]

"You need something that will calm you down, Zuko. It isn't good to be so mad all the time." She looks at him, concerned.

"Anger and rage fuel firebending. Not that I do much bending, but..." He shrugs a little. "Passion's our birthright... Uncle could tell you better, though, about that sort of thing."

[burbonmilkshake]

"I really haven't talked to him much," she confesses. "He kind of intimidates me."

"And anyway, you should learn to relax a little anyway--especially with the twins on the way." Her face softens. "I can't wait to sit for them. Mel said there was going to be a nursery set up in your apartment?"

Zuko gets this look of 'buzzah' over the idea of Iroh being intimidating. He is a big cuddly Dragon of the West! He only intimidates Zuko when he's kicking ass!

...or somethnig.

But he nods when the subject changes to nursery. "Yeah. Uncle made a crib, but we had to lend it to Mike-- now, we need another!" He laughs a little, looking abashed. "It's-- well, slow going. But we've only got a couple months. I think I need to start putting 'baby items' on the scavenge lists."

[burbonmilkshake]

She laughs. "Irene could probably scavenge like, 20 cribs still intact. If we broke them down, who knows how many she could pull."

[princeinexile]

"If we send Irene out, and tell her to get nothing but baby clothing and toys, we'll have enough for every child that Mel and I may ever have."

Just sayin'.

[burbonmilkshake]

"True. We could have her stock up on canned goods and coffee. Then we'd be set for LIFE."

She'd also not be back for a week, but hey.

Zuko snorted, before he brought up the coffee to his lips.

"...think that Ed might be able to revitalize some of the beans? Maybe we could grow a crop, with that-- alchemy stuff?" That'd be nice. Growing their own damn coffee.

Somehow.

"Daddy gave me a small crop already. I hid it in the freezer. I want to roast them before I grind them." She says this in a small voice, leaning close, conspiritorally.

"I'm saving them for a special occassion. Namely, after Mel gives birth to the babies." She smiles.
