Faye has wandered to the roof after moving Claire in and getting her settled. She is exploring the greenhouse, curious, and checking on the rain damage.

Rain damage? WHAT RAIN DAMAGE-- oh yeah, the stuff they've mostly patched up. Hell, Daddy's even got some sprouts started. Which is why Ed is up here -- to take notes, investigate-- and wonder about the man's strange powers.

"..does everybody come up here or what?" he asks when he spies Faye; he gives her a curt nod, but then passes right by-- to go about continuing his check over and such.

"Not often. I was just curious about the greenhouse." She watches the boy with the metal arm and leg. "Is there anything I can do to help you? My name's Faye, by the way."

"NAh, I Think we have plenty of hands up here," Ed says. MD, Paige, Harper sometimes, Ed... "Too many and people will get confused."

A beat, before he glances back and says, "I'm Ed."

She smiles at him. "It's nice to meet you." Faye looks at the green growing things and her smile softens. "I like it here. It's nice to see growing things."

"Better then seeing the dead things," Ed points out bitterly.

She tilts her head. "What's the matter?"

"...have you looked outside lately?" Hello! What's the matter?

[burbonmilkshake]

"Besides that," she says, rolling her eyes. "I'm not stupid."

[edmuse]

"Isn't that enough?" Ed asks, cocking a brow.

[burbonmilkshake]

"Well, yes. But you're too young to be such a pissy son of a bitch."

Faye raises a brow. "So what's the matter?"

[edmuse]

"I'm not that young!" Edward blurts. "I'm probably sixteen now!" He's been here a while, but who keeps track of dates, really?

He's also slick at avoiding the point.

[burbonmilkshake]

"Sorry." She holds up her hands. "But you didn't answer my question. I don't mean to pry, but if you have a problem, you should probably talk about it instead of bottling it."

[edmuse]

But he's so good at bottling! I mean, he bottles like a pro! He puts his hands on his hips and then says, despite the blantent lie being obvious, "I'm not bottling!"

Faye raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

Come on. Open up to the sassy indie girl.

"YES I'M SURE!"

Ed should be labeled. Something like: WARNING! CONTENTS UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE.

Faye backs off a few steps. "Okay. Fine. But if you want to talk, I'm making coffee tomorrow in 202."

She turns to go.
