Anakin sure as hell picked something up. So it shouldn't be a surprise when he knocks on the door and then slips in.

"Decan? You doing alright?"

"I've been better," he replies, holding up the bandaged arm. Revan's had some fluids, and has calmed down some, so he merely looks wan now.

Anakin nods. "What happened to you? I felt something in the Force."

[jediatemybrain]

THAT causes Revan to go quiet. "I was out on patrol with somebody. We got ambushed by maggog. They threw a... well the local equivalent of a speeder at us. Hit my partner and collapsed a wall on him. Then it ambushed me, and I managed to fight it off before escaping."

"How'd you fight it off?" Yes, he's probing. "I mean...one person against one of those things does tend to be tall odds." Not impossible, but...tough.

"I got lucky. It thought it had me, but I managed to squirm free and stun it for a second. Long enough to get away."

Not technically a lie. But he's stonewalling. It's in his tone and body language.

And Anakin picks up that something's amiss there. "Stun it for a second? I thought they never stopped coming at you until you were dead?"

"Well, I put a sword through its jaw, and the kicked it across the room. Things were kind of hectic there, so I'm pretty sure that's what happened."

Now he's just outright lying.

Anakin thinks about this, noticing the lie. "There's something amiss here, Decan. Something doesn't add up." He looks Decan in the eyes. "What happened? I picked up something...it felt like someone using the Force."

Revan looks away briefly, then back at Anakin. "I don't know what to tell you Jedi Skywalker. You're the Force expert. I just tried not to get killed out there."

Anakin closes his eyes for a moment. "Is there any chance that you're Force-sensitive, Decan?"

[jediatemybrain]

Anakin gets the Crazy Eye for that sentence, and it's tinged with a little fear. "No. They would have noticed after the surgery. Or before. Whenever."

[notasith]

"Not if they didn't know what to look for...and not if they weren't Force-sensitive themselves." Pause. "I'm pretty sure that someone used the Force, and unless one of those things or your partner can use it, you're the only candidate."

And a deep breath from Anakin. "It's nothing to be afraid of, Decan. Only misuse of it is."

"Thanks for your concern Jedi Skywalker, but I think you might be mistaken," his tone has become frosty. "I was assigned to a ship with a Jedi, they probably have figured out if I was one of them."

Which is true, just not for the reason he's giving.

Anakin sighs. "Alright. If anything else happens, I'd like to know. Someone who is Force-sensitive and who doesn't get the proper training could be a danger to others, if not themselves. And if those things are Force-sensitive...we're in big trouble."

Revan just looks at him for a second, then just nods. "BIG trouble. It's kept me up at nights sometimes, the idea of a Sith dropping in and finding there way here," then he sighs, "I really think its nothing to worry about Jedi Skywalker."
