Angua is drawing a map.
She started off by drawing a big circle. Then inside this circle she sketched the rough outline of a ginat continent, taking up most of one side. In the dead centre of the circle, within the continent, she drew a large mountain, and sketched in a smaller peaks to indicate a range spreading out around it. The coastline at one point curls in to form a large, roughly circular sea. Two more continents are added, coastlines not quite as definite.
On the coast of the Circle Sea, a circle and some roofs suggests a walled city. Next to that she has written: Angua von Uberwald: Ankh-Morpork. Towards the centre from this some further cities are sketched in, although not labelled.
And now she's focusing on the edge of the map: Four elephant heads views from above, visible at equal points along the rim, and below that, a giant turtle.
Just so people don't think she lives on a planet.
