Danica is not happy.

She's been lurking around the apartments, trying to pick up bits of information here and there, but that's, well, boring.

For now, she's just sitting inside, legs curled beneath her, stilettos tossed aside. Stupid shoes.

She wants blood. Or a cigarette. Badly.

Krauser is coming down the hallway, being himself. Which, among many other qualities, is 'inedible to vampires.' The shoes get a look.

"You know, I think we've got spares in 202."

She may not want shoes, but it's about all he can provide. And then she gets something else: a grim, slightly startled look.

[screams_trouble]

Danica glances up at him.

"Hey." Her voice is a litle raspy. "You know where I can get a cigarette or something? I'm dying here."

[dead_comrade]

"The ones that were here are mostly gone stale or fallen apart." He digs in a pocket for a moment and tosses her a small packet. "You could try those."

He picked up nicotene patches for HUNK. Professional concession. Sure, the guy could be trying to kill him soon. But there was no reason to leave him to withdrawal.

And then he just looks at her for a moment, thoughtful.

[screams_trouble]

"Right." She scowls, looking down at the package. "Better than nothing."

And then she glances back up at him. "What?"

Ichigo recognizes her and pauses halfway down the hallway. She's still around, so apparently she's not one of the vampires they're guarding against. Or something like that. Whatever the case, he feels the need to make up for his attitude from their last meeting.

"Hey. I didn't catch your name last time."

[screams_trouble]

"Danica." She answers, barely looking up at him. "This is a real interesting set-up you people have here." If by 'interesting' you mean 'pathetic'.

"What do ya mean by that?"

He's tempted to ask why she looks so...unhappy. Well, unhappier. She didn't seem very happy last time either.

"It's like you're trying to make your own little society from the ground up or something." She snorts, half in disgust. "It's cute."
