There is a sniffing sound from a couple isles over. As of some kind of animal, following a trail.

And then around the corner comes a rather large black and silver wolf, who freezes upon seeing Oz. Not what it was expecting.

Oz's nostrils flare just before the wolf turns the corner. He's already looking at him when he rounds into the aisle. For a moment, he simply stares, the wolf inside of him itching to come out.

He draws a deep, cleansing breath, pushing the wolf down and keeping him inside.

And in the time it takes to do that, there is now a man standing before him, eyeing Oz.

"Huh. Sorry, Thought I smelled someone else."

"It's possible you did." Oz watches the transformation with a muted, unchanging expression. "Hate to ask the obvious but...Werewolf?"

Beckett just gives him a look.

Nothing of the sort, but he's not actually saying he is either.

He gestures with his head towards the apartments.

"Livin with mundies?"

Oz's gaze follows the gesture and then he looks back to him with a nod. "Yeah, only they're pretty much just going by the name 'people' now." It's a dry joke and he knows it and prepares for the not getting of it.

A snort.

"My people call them 'Cattle'"

His people, not him.

"I find Mundies better."

"You don't live in the apartments?"

"Nope."

He stares at the various hair car products.

"You know anythin bout Sheep Dogs? There's this thing, they call it...well, they don't call it anythin, really. But sometimes, a sheep dog, who has all these sheep around him all the time, will stop suddenly, and look at the sheep and in his mind, he goes 'Hey. Lookit that. It's whit, and fluffy, and meaty. I wonder what it tastes like?' And soon after, they have to put him down."

That should explain everything.

Oz nods slightly in understanding. "Yeah I get that." Almost too well

"The top floor is nice. Not many people up there. Not alot of furniature either, but who needs all that... stuff?"

"What if it rains? I hear it's leathal in the burning acid like way." Oz says, genuinely concerned although it doesn't reach his features.

Oz is ever sympathetic to the plight of those who can't be close to humans all of the time since he himself is like that. He just gets it.

"Do you need food? Cause I can bring you some... canned something."
