Everyone missed these multi-pup posts...
The jungle Queen has shaved off her hair. The long locks of yellow lie at her feet, and she is curled into a ball---a tight, frightened-looking ball. A worn-looking doll is cluthed in her emaciated fingers, an expression darker and more terrifying than rage on her face.
"Leopard Queen?" Maxx's voice is quiet and muted in this place.
"This doll is telling me things I don't want to hear. And if it doesn't shut up I'm going to brush it's hair so hard that I brush it's head---right---off!"
SNAP!
"I hate waking up in someone else's nightmare."
Maxx is still in the same clothes, still in the same position from the night before. When did the meeting end? When did day begin? Things shift and alter so quickly...it's difficult to tell most days. And what had happened to the Leopard Queen?
Now this is an unusual sight. Usually when the Maxx finds the Doctor and that big, mean-looking guy standing around together, it is the Doctor with a smirk and the big guy all scowling. Now, apparently, it is the opposite.
The Doctor is sitting near to the apartments, tinkering with a bit of machinery an annoyed-looking scowl on his face. Jayne is practicing tossing a knife across the yard onto a board (and doing an excellent job of it, as well) with a satisfied looking smirk. The Maxx is just still a lump of clothes.
