Meta threads notwithstanding, Illyria has no idea about the word "emo", despite being so herself now and again.

That aside, she does have a word or two for Methos.

A word or two of warning, written on a piece of paper in the oldest language she's fairly certain he can speak. A few brief words.

Krauser may be a threat. I had words with him. If words are not enough, you may let me know or deal with it as you choose.

She slips it under his door as quietly and carefully as she can and then starts away.

It's utterly silent in his room, so the sound of the paper sliding on the floor is enough to draw his attention.

He picks up the note and frowns as he reads it. It's interesting that she managed to get Krauser's name into Sanskrit, actually. He doesn't dwell on that long, though. He pulls open the door and looks down the hallway, hoping that she hasn't gotten too far away yet.

"Illyria?"

She almost doesn't stop.

Shouldn't, really. It hasn't been long enough for her to get her thoughts on any of this sorted out. She's still angry underneath all of it. Not just at him, but still angry.

So she very nearly doesn't stop.

But then she does.

She turns around, head tilted in questioning.

He opens his mouth.

He closes his mouth.

Yeah, he really didn't think this through very well.

"You wanna come in?" he finally asks.

Sometimes, Sokka wondered if Harper sent him through the apartment to 'find parts' just to get rid of him for a while. The last time he'd done this, he'd come back to find a good portion of his airship sketch altered and Harper whistling as innocently as he could.

Which was not very innocently, to be noted.

While he knew where most everyone was on the first three floors, everything beyond them were mostly mysteries. It's why, after a row of seven or so empty apartments, he doesn't hesitate to simply open the next door to poke inside.

...It's just his luck that someone does live there, of course.

"Oops-- sorry!"

Methos looks up with a start at the voice. Then he relaxes and smiles slightly.

"No problem. I was just thinking. You need something?"

Smiling back, his is a little sheepish, self-mocking as he leans at the doorframe. "I'm supposed to be finding the compression cable Harper seems to remember putting 'not on the first floor, but on the third-- or fifth-- or ninth, one of the odd numbered ones.'

"Considering his directions, I've been checking the evens. Have you seen one?"

"Not sure. What's it look like?"
