A montage.

"What did you say you wanted, exactly? An electrical outlet?"

"Just a couple," Veronica replies. "I only need enough to charge the computer, the camera and the GPS. It's really not that much -- and that generator can probably take it."

"It can take it," says Tristan Williams. "You remember the way?"

"Would I ever forget?"

The Chrysler Sebring (of the FUTURE!!!) pulls up in front of the hospital, and Tris sighs -- he doesn't like this place, really. It definitely doesn't bring back the world's most pleasant memories.

Veronica, on the other hand, has already grabbed messenger bag and lens case and is running inside.

"Careful," he starts, "there's a --"

"Shit." Veronica attempts to shake the pain out of her foot where she'd stepped into the jerry-rigged foot-trap, glaring behind her where Tris must be.

Tris is trying not to look at the hospital.

The memories still suck.

But at least the simplest security mechanism is still there.

"I'm not speaking to you," Veronica says an hour later, when she hobbles back into the (her) car.

"Swerth! But you just did."

Veronica scowls.

"Go on," says Tris, and Veronica drives.
