As the Magog get closer, Munch starts shooting. He hopes he's a decent enough shot; this cannon is no where near similar to his service pistol.

He's hyperventilating and screaming and firing pretty much blindly, but... at least he's not hiding with a bucket over his head this time.
A few curses slip past his lips in the process. Monk's going a bit crazy. But it's a good kind of crazy!
Poor Munch.

Josh had blessed the entire wall earlier. They couldn get over it, but they couldn't touch it.
However, the vampire Magog was ignoring the pain and stomping towards Munch, in a blind rage because of the pain it was in.

Monk stares in sheer horror as the thing - the magog - screeches and then starts moving, coming closer and closer and--
ZAP!
Right. In. The. Face. Bitch.
Monk's proud of himself, but now he feels a bit sick.
... is it over yet?

"Thanks," Munch says to his fellow detective. Meantime, he's mentally cursing himself for not paying attention. Maybe it's his age catching up with him.

But they do both have their sidearms, and the vampire Magog have their backs turned. So long as their aim is true...

He moves away from the canon and fires two shots and the closest Magog, right where the heart should be (if those things could be said to have hearts). He prefers not to shoot people in the back, even perps, but then again the Magog don't really count as "people".
He might feel better if he was packing silver bullets, though.

He's as meticulous with his aim as anything else.
Minutes later, he's finally satisfied with his aim on one of the magog - the one that wouldn't. stop. moving. - and he fires.
The noise of a bullet going through a magog's head is really, really gross.
Munch can expect to be clung to and cried on as soon as this is all over.
