What was your favorite spooky book or story growing up? I used to love this book called "Haunted Animals," which was a collection of ghost stories relating to... you guessed it... animals! I also liked (and still do!) Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,... oh, and Short & Shivery - especially the one about the Civil War soldier who comes back to reclaim his bride. The illustration was beautiful and creepy. How about it, meme?
