There Belarus stood, awkwardly and alone, as her fist began to tremble slightly as it got closer and to the wooden door. Images of rejection filled her mind, preventing her from fully knocking on the door. Would nee-chan really turn her down, like Russia? Ukraine was the sweetest girl Belarus knew, and always admired her for it... though she not always necessarily show it. Belarus knew though that just because she was kind didn't mean she would willingly listen to her little sister complain about her love life. Ukraine had a lot of reason to be rude to her. After all Belarus always hugged Russia and would give Ukraine a hard time whenever she was near him ( AKA growing at her or trying to rib apart the scarf she gave to Russia ( ... )

Ukraine was so busy that time milking her cows when she heard someone knocking on her door. Surprised, she stood up.

"Hmmmm? Who could it be? Oh, my...it must be Russia-chan, I haven't paid the gas bill yet, have I?"

She prepared herself, thinking of what excuses will she make to Russia. Then, with a deep breath, she opened the door.

Ukraine gasps, "Oh my...If it isn't Belarus-chan!" With relief and a smile, she hugged her little sister. "What brings you here?"

A small hint of a smile made its way onto Belarus's lips as her sister hugged her. Though the younger sister did not show any physical response to the small sign of affection (besides a light "Hnn.."), she was inwardly so happy that Ukraine hadn't change one bit since her last visit.

Looking at her sister with sad eyes, Belarus softly said, "Ahh... nee-chan... it's... it's... a long story. Maybe we can discuss it over some vod-I mean drinks?" The girl had been spending far too much time with her older brother, she almost asked her sister if she would bring her vodka! That was not in any way appropriate for this meeting...

"It's kinda about nii-san..." she added suddenly at the end.

"Ah, about Russia-chan", Ukraine replied, with a little loneliness in her voice. Then she turned her back to get some drinks. "Okay, wait here and I'll get some milk...Vodka isn't for you" Ukraine told Belarus with such a sisterly tone.

As Ukraine prepares the milk in the kitchen, she wore a blank expression. Russia-chan. It's been a while since she haven't met him.

The kitchen and the living room is only divided by a small wall with a square hole. In that hole, she took a glimpse of her younger sister, who is sitting on the only chair in the living room. There's only one chair. After all, Ukraine had been living alone for a while...

Then she sighs.

She puts the glass of milk into the tray and walks back to the living room.

"Tadaaaah!" Ukraine happily walks back into the living room. Seeing how depressed Belarus seems to be, she forced to have a happy face. "Here, fresh milk. You love this, don't you?" Ukraine hands over the milk to Belarus-chan.
