There was a time when he loved to be Shinobi. He was young then, and foolish.
Now he sleeps with one eye open, swilling pills of sudden death. It’s good practice, you see. There's no such thing as being overprepared, after all.
Prolonged suicide. Or so Sakura calls it. She never did know what she was talking about.
Another night. Another nightmare. It looks like there’s ramen and coffee and ash for breakfast again. Didn’t we have that yesterday? Maybe. Maybe last week, the month before, and the year before that, too. Does it matter?
Sasuke’s body has probably rotted by now.
