i offer no apologies
for the filth that dribbles out of my mouth,
or for the beautiful things that ease out.
I offer no apologies
for the venom my words leave behind,
or for the cures they have brought.
I offer none because of this:
Everything word that i carefully place,
Onto my mouth and have let free,
Has come from everything that is me.
My body and my head and my heart,
all tell me it's the purest truth,
and that's all i need to live by.
So i offer you no apologies.
