on reading authors' Collected Letters

Mar 17, 2013 14:53

As I'm enjoying reading the uncollected letters of fictional poets R. Ash and C. Lamotte in Possession, I think I might like to read the collected letters of a real poet or writer. A quick Amazon search has turned up the following: Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Thomas Jefferson & John Adams, W.B. Yeats, Ernest Hemingway.

Has anyone on here actually read an author's collected letters? Any recommendations?
