giddy as a school girl...
tomorrow I start my new job; Consumer Services Manager for Sweet Leaf Tea! I am so excited, but so scared all at the same time.
It's rough going to a new job. I was used to Whole Foods, and I was used to being myself; which I know should not be an issue, but it is for me in regards to starting over again. I was pretty much myself in all of the interviews with them, and they like me a lot, but it's the usual self-doubt that lives deep inside of me coming forward.
On the other hand-I can't wait for the change!! I negotiated a larger salary (1st time in my life!) and am coming out really well, and getting in with a great company that is growing by leaps and bounds. Even during a recession, folks love their tea.
I also received another job offer on Thursday with a natural foods broker-they were an awesome group of folks, but the Sweet Leaf one is just too great of a fit for me. I will be turning down the other job tomorrow afternoon, once I have a chance to sign paperwork and make the new job official.
I need to finish watching Desperate Housewives and get myself to bed.
