RIP GINGER MARYJANE RIGGS (NAULT)

My dog was found by the Rowlett pound early Saturday morning. They SAW her get hit by a car.
I have been lucky enough to take her body home and be able to take care of her in a proper way.
I have had her since she fit in my hand at 6 weeks old.
She was nearly 11.
She will be missed by many, and especially her father and I.

I love my dog.

it UBER Sux, and today we go and get her cremated, so the fun isnt over yet.
luckily wfm gave me the week off..

I'm so sorry for you. I know exactly what you're going through, but my husband buried our baby. I felt so responsible since we lived near a highway and I know she heard the car coming. To top it off, it was just before Thanksgiving, I was in Arkansas and I was 3 months pregnant.
Don't remember how many nights I cried myself to sleep, but do know it was a lot of wet pillowcases.

it does suck. and the house is just so fucking empty. i miss the hound smell.
i miss having to get up and down to let her in and out.
i miss her pissing on my still-un-paid-for-carpet!
i asked dylan to bury her, but he didn't want to do that since we do not plan on spending many more years here..
