Garden Notes: Next Door is Doing Stuff
As I've mentioned many times here an apartment complex is going to be built on the lot next door to ours. The process has dragged on and on but apparently yesterday something new happened. They removed the vegetation on the upper part of the lot. That means that Louise's garden gets a lot more light. There will be a house there eventually so then there will be less light but for now it's very nice and bright.
The lower lot is still a jungle. I wonder when they'll do something about that. Maybe today? If they do, the Blue border is going to get a whole lot more light too and less competition for water and nutrients from big trees. That would be nice.
