Today I finished the first stage of my painted jeans!
I ironed the left leg, all written in red paint. I don't have enough room in my camera, so I'll post the picture later.
AND I started with my mom (to be clear, she started and I tried to help her out) with the belly dancing skirt. Right now she's finishing it with the sewing machine, I can't wait to see it finished!
For the top (more a bra than a top) I think we'll go on tomorrow. I couldn't ask her to work on another thing..
This is the rough stage of my ceramic project. It is a japanese tea ceremony service: four cups and a tray.
The tray is in red ceramic, and I plan to paint it in white mat varnish.
The cups will be finished in raku technique. I made an indirect incision on them and in every cup there's a different flower: Chrysantemums, Selvatic Cherry Flowers, Lilies and Lotus Flowers. I'll leave them unpainted(I'll color only the edges), so after it will become black.
I hope it will come out as I expect. I'll cross my fingers!
This is the sushi plate I bought yesterday for 13€
I planned to eat it all by myself (I was NOT hungry! How can you think something like that!), but I decided to save some for my family, and I divided the rest with Aviva. Luckily, because I was full with 6 of them!
I disceovered that in the sushi bar near my house they sell Tayaki! The bad news is that they cost 17€, and they're in a 10 pieces pack... So I'll have to wait for someone to divide the price with me and enjoy these beautiful and tasteful sweets...
