what's this??? could adam be updating? WHY YES I AM...
it's been a long time since my last post... since Aug. 30th, actually. i've been slacking. i've just had no motivation to write. so, i'm gonna attempt to type witty, possibly even funny dialogue. so listen up...
first, i've decided to write a novel... yes, a novel. i've made this my college goal. because so many things in my life right now are just temporary, short-term, or uncertain goals (like relationships and grades and such), i think that a longterm goal would be a great thing. i want to have a goal over which i have soul control. (pardon the rhyme) anyways, i'm really excited about it, and from everyone that has read it, i've only received positive feedback. so i'm thinking that's a good thing.

school is going pretty well... however, i feel like i've got 238473289 things on my plate right now, but i can't think of what they are. i feel stressed, but i can't remember any of my obligations. Good or bad? possibly both. i'm maintaining a high average in all my classes, but i'm scared about my art stuff cuz it's so subjective. it's hard to jeopardize my own style and form just to passify those of the teachers. i'm not sure how that's gonna work, but i'm trying my best. wish me luck.
once again, i'm going home this weekend (cue the gasps of shock)... i know that comes as a surprise. (maybe not).
anyways, tonight is kim's homecoming so i'm gonna go to that with her. and then, i'm returning to memphis with kim and her family on saturday to visit with some of her family. that sounds like SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun... (did anyone catch the sarcasm??? i did) nah, i'm just kidding, i really do enjoy spending time with her family. sunday, i'm pretty sure that kim is coming to church with me. that really excites me... it's definitely important to share God with my girlfriend. Sunday night i have to help out this guy from brownsville at his "stew"
Basically, there's this really important guy in brownsville who has a stew for other VIPs in the community and around the US at his cabin. it's always the last sunday in sept. so many people are there... all older. i've been going for the past three years helping park cars and pour drinks and what not... it's great networking and i get paid... as well as free food. the stew is sooooo good. i'm gonna take some containers and bring back some. so if anyone wants to try this famous stew, just lemme know and i'll hook you up.
