i got a letter from PEOPLE TO PEOPLE FUTURE LEADERS SUMMIT. It's some group started by president eisenhower. the current president is the chairman. so rite now it's bush. woo...hoo. don't i feel special. it says "in honor of your academic achievement and leadership ability, People to People cordially invites your participation in a Future Leaders Summit." if i join, it's $300 but it counts for 10 credits and volunteer hours, so i'm thinking it's worth it. it has programs in leadership, law, and medicine, but i'd have to go to Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, George Washington, or UCLA for 10 days to some forum/summit thing. also, i'd have to meet new people ::shudder:: im bad at that.i don't know if i should do it or not. i know patty's in it, but i think she's in it for law, i would go for medicine. also, they do a big trip at the end of the program and this year they're going to new zealand or australlia or something.
i hate being so indecicive.
[edit]
my dad just got home from work and i showed him and he said "they just want money, i bet everyone gets these."
oh wat would i do without my dad? wait that rite, maybe i'd have a seld esteem.
he's preobably rite tho. i don't see why i'd get something that implies im actually smart. anyone that knows me knows im not.
that's all
