Requiem
I haven't updated this in forever.
- I graduated college in December. I'm working for a CPA firm in west Lansing and I'm studying for the CPA exam.
- I have a sweet apartment with new furniture I purchased.
- I bought a Macbook and a Blackberry
- I've started growing fond of Sinatra
- I turned 24 yesterday. I worked from 8-5 then I drove up to Soaring Eagle Casino to meet my mom and grandparents. There I proceeded to eat at the buffet and lose money in slots. And I just won the award for Most Exciting Birthday Ever award.
- I want to expand on this a bit though. I could have had some fun on my birthday. Tieppo invited me out with him (We share the same birthday). Haven't talked to him in ages. He bought a house(?!). I also got invited out to go to some East Lansing bars. I declined on both accounts. I find myself being more driven to things now. When I do go out drinking, I end up losing half of the next day. Believe you me, if I could do it differently I'd be a cover band singer at some hole in the wall bar in Memphis. I'd get the forearm tattoo and chain smoke Menthols. I'd quote Kerouac and date some single mom. LIfe didn't turn out that way though and yet I'm still happy extremely and grateful for absolutely everything I have. Life is beautiful.
