So, the last few weeks Ive been doing the front desk schedules at my work because my management always waits until Thursday to do the schedules comming in on Friday & I hate waiting until then to get my schedule so John has been letting me do it on Monday or so

You should have just said, "If you have a problem with it, you should take it up with John. I believe I have been very fair with the scheduling so far," and walked away. No time for ridiculous drama from a woman twice your age who should know better!

Oh I didn't start drama at all, I just asked her exactly what she didn't find fair and then let it be at that.
