All done? Ok, cool. Wasn't that simpler than me typing out a synopsis for you? Well, it was for me. So anyway, I had this inclination that we could keep inappropriate movies away from children with this little thing called "movie ratings". You know, G, PG, PG-13, R, etc. But apparently, people are too lazy for that. They want to watch their copy of Sideways or Troy, but since its the weekend and little 5yo Timmy is home, lets just edit out Sandra Oh's breasts and Brad Pitt's ass. Come on, people. If you think your kid isn't mature enough to watch a movie, DON'T PUT ON THAT MOVIE. That simple. I'm wondering what will happen if they put out a Family Entertainment Act-approved version of
Sin City. My guess is that would be The starting credits..then a couple of the rare scenes of people standing around and happen to be fully clothed and not blood-spattered...then maybe some of Hartigan's last speech (cutting off before he shoots himself, mind you)...then the end credits. Yeah, that movie would rule!!
