Watch; he turns
Follows the bleak sun
Into silent disarray
He fears
Such morose despair
His soul could not but wretch a kiss
From those lips
Light
Fades into ethereal shadow
Distant and forlorn
He shall utter a cry of defeat
And pass away from hope and grace
A lifeless memory
A mirror revered; now shattered
Now dead
Alone
He will grieve
For me.
As sullen as rock
Mountain, cavern
Weeping
Shall he remain
Eternal dark blessed
Eternal flame
No longer burns
Within.
