(no subject)
I have had a FANTASTIC day. Jenna, Glenn, and I went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel where I ate enough to be full but not overly so. Then Jenna and I proceeded to the used book store to trade out school books and crap books for better books. I walked away with three of CJ Cherryh's books in one, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and Redwall by Brian Jacques (I'm rebuilding this collection).
After the bookstore, Jen and I decided we wanted to go work out and go the pool, so we worked out, but the pool was locked. :(
However, we decided to go to the beach instead, so we packed up some chairs, took Glenn's truck, and drove 40 minutes to the beach. The weather was perfect for about two and a half hours and then it started to look a little menacing. The water was great, and we found lots of pretty shells.
On a fun note, Jenna and I got Glenn's truck stuck in the sand, and we had to get him to talk us through getting it unstuck. I couldn't stop laughing.
And, now, we have delicious boiled peanuts from a stand on the side of the road, and Jenna's about to make homemade pasta, which I originally typed as paste.
