Don't worry about the translations. I am behind on uploads myself. I also recently posted my fanfics here at LJ. Before, they were only at FFNet. I have 2 unfinished PoT fanfics.
It's all right to make personal posts. I find them interesting, and they help me get to know people better. I didn't have the intention of personal posts either when I first started having online jounrals. My original purpose was to write essays on public issues. Later, another purpose was added: to tell my side of the story in conflicts. That's why I intended all posts to be public at first. However, as I meet and know more people, I made more and more personal posts.
Congratulations on your Japan university acceptance! I'm glad you have a more convenient application system. In the U.S., we usually have to submit individual applications to each university. It's a big hassle.
For the meme, I only know #2, which is the PoT movie, The Two Samurais: the First Game.

Thanks! I eventually got better. Unfortunately, my parents say that I'm not trying hard or hard enough. It's hard to not listen to my family when what they say is right in my ear, and they keep rubbing things in.

Thanks! Actually, I haven't graduated yet. I'm trying to finish my research project by September, but the ceremony is only in May.
