When we spend all our tiny moments entwined in all the small details they all seem to be so big...but when you look at the real big picture, we all end up the same don't we? All your money, all your possessions and materialistic items amount to absolutely nothing. NOTHING.
The only true success in life it seems is to be well remembered and truely missed after you are gone. It seems that life is not about how many friends you have, what kind of clothes you wear, or how much money you make...although so many people build their lives around that.
But life is about affecting someone else's life in a way that could not have been done otherwise. Its about being there for people. Its about taking your life and making it everyones life...its about being a part of other peoples lives. Life is about love, passion, empathy. The true goal of your life should be to make someone else's life a little bit easier. It should be to find a kindred soul headed in your direction and cling to them untill they are no longer headed in your direction.
I think that the mistake most people make is thinking that their life is about them. But it's not. Your life is about every one in it. Every one you decide to make a part of it. Its about all the people you decide to give your heart and love and time to, because those are the people who make you who you are. The building blocks of your life. Its about building trust, growing bonds. It's about giving your love and loyalty to someone else in exchange for the same.
If you really think about it, Its simple. Life isn't about the items, the inanimate objects, or the success. Life is about the things that are living. The people and animals. Your life is about the ones that are in it. So if you're reading this and there's someone in your life that you think isn't truly aware of how much they mean to you, let them know. Right now. Because if you don't, the moment just passes you by. And who knows, telling them this could change the course of their lives, and believe me, they will remember it for the rest of their lives, maybe even past the end of yours.
