A People's History of the United States of America by Howard Zinn (And questions to go with the book.)
America at 1750, A Social Portrait by Richard Hofstadter
Rise To Rebellion by Jeff Shaara
(And then some work out of the text book, if I remember correctly.)
AP English
The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger (The only one I think I'll enjoy.)
The Great Gatby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (I hate classics.)
The Turn of the Screw by Henry James (He said we'd need to read this at least twice to understand it.)
