So, one interesting thing about gardening indoors is not having a winter during which plants die off. I actually thought my eggplants were on their way out this spring, but lo and behold they suddenly perked up and I just got quite a nice harvest off both plants. Many of these went into some couscous tonight with another side of roasted fresh zucchini. My hot peppers have come in quite well, too. Nothing has ripened to bright lemon yellow yet, but the next time I do curry I'll clip a green pod and give the heat a test run.
