Oz ran around his apartment, grabbing things that he thought he might need and stuffing them into a backpack he had found in the closet. He had no idea who the pack belonged to and there was a drop of dried blood on the left side of it, but he didn't mind. He had seen far worse things than a simple smudge of blood. He sat the backpack n the bed and rocked back on his heels. He decided to look through the bag just to keep track of what he had and also to see if he needed anything else. "Red tape, flashlight, batteries, the packaged food that didn't go bad, bottled water, his communicator, some markers, and paper." He said to himself and scratched his head.
"I think that's everything!" He quickly closed the bag and slung it over his shoulder. He grabbed a can of coffee grounds, opened it, and grabbed a spoon. He shoved some of the ground up coffee into his mouth. He had been doing the same thing for the past two and a half days because he refused to sleep. With a small sigh, he put the lid back onto the coffee container and walked out of the room slowly.
He closed the door behind himself and after he did, he took out a black marker and wrote on the door. Oz Bezarius was here. He also wrote the date and time. The reason for taking these measures was just in case he were to get lost or if Gil had missed him because he hadn't seen any sight of Gil at all other than on the communicator. Oz began to wander down the hall. "This isn't so bad." He murmured as he kept walking, one foot in front of the other. He turned a corner and then another. He walked down a flight of stairs with a small yawn.
"Tired..Maybe if I just sit and rest a bit." He said and took a seat upon a step. That however, only lasted for a minute or two because the next thing he knew, he heard a loud scream. He arose instantly to his feet and took off running down the a hallway.
