"Yet being the operative word." She growled, "Whether it's fifteen minutes to a damn hour, we're going to freeze fine either way." Rubi pulled a face and tugged her scarf up a little higher up over her mouth prior to unbuttoning the front of her heavy coat to check that her revolvers were securely in place. If something happened, it would be best to be able to reach her weapons even if that meant sacrificing that little extra warmth from a closed jacket.

Squinting under her wild bangs into the pitch black darkness ahead, Rubi couldn't help but take a generous step away from Fierce's helix blade when it left it's harness. Even if she knew he was a god, that hardly changed an instinct that insisted anyone that toted around a sword that big clearly had terrible aim to make up for the oversized razor.
Not that Malone would dare to say that to his face, of course. She rather liked being in one piece.

"If this is a tunnel like any old horror movie, that light will go out when we're halfway through. And then the beasties come out to play." Not a threat or an attempt to scare either Link or the giant elf guy strolling along behind, but more of a simple observation. But still, she kept a gloved palm hovering at holster height while peering past the fragile circle of luminance offered by the flashlight for any signs of movement in the dark ahead.
