Over all? This wasn't too bad of a set up! Sure, it was a dire situation, but the problem with not being to get out of it was... well... not being able to get out of it, frankly. Eh, but still not too bad.
Currectly vexing. Just not bad. Dealing with his brother wasn't so muc the hard part as deciding whether it was a good idea to go in, guns blazing, kick some guy's ass for beating up on an awfully cute girl, and come out the hero. Or. Go in, guns blazing, bite off more than he could chew in the current situation, and find himself having to sleep off more drain. What was with that? Honestly! Dante, for the life of him, wasn't fond of ghosts, much less ones he couldn't get rid of, but there really wasn't something right about how easily he tired out. Oh well. For now? Dante was in no mood to really feel down about things.
"So, I say to Enzo, 'I don't do lost and found', right? Man, makes me wonder why I bothered! Swear, for an Itlaian, he ain't got much of a sense of self preservation," he was saying, and had been quite serious when he said he would sweep the lady off her. Whom he happened to be carrying bridal style right down the stairs.
Why sweat the big stuff right off the bat? Dante was pretty sure he could figure things out as he went along. The whole thing irked him-- Mika was a nice girl (and not just the family saying of 'nice girl' but just genuinely nice), and didn't need to have such a bad stream of luck. Better to have her where he could keep an eye on her for the time.
What better way to do that than with a round of cards and some booze? Besides, things were bound to get interesting when Rubi finished whatever business she had-- Dante wasn't about to get in the middle of it. And Mika was just plain amusing right now, anyways, more than she usually was.
Regardless though, his grip was easy and unwavering, having no trouble getting down to the second floor thus far, grinning breezily at Mika just to be, more than anything, best attempts at charming for the annoyance factor. Or a debonair sense of things. Either or.
