Another fucking good 80s night

so last night austin picked me up pretty early and we headed over to 59 diner to meet lindsey(im sorry if i spelt that wrong) and courtney before their prom. It was fun we sat had some great conversation, made fun of Austin and my unintentional matching and the girls took some really cute photobooth pics. Then we gathered all the goods and we parted from the girls sent them best wishes and headed down to cactus to kill some time. We browsed the shelves talked music laughed at some really old records and then stumbled upon 2 awesome cd's. well one austin knew, the french kicks, which were rediculously good and then we both had a listen to the magneticfield i think they were called (god im bad with names) and they had wicked nice strings mixed in so we decided we'd deffinetly need to get those some time. we then headed out to try to not get such a bad spot at numbers. we ended up parking about 2 blocks away but it wasnt a bad spot at all. We payed the fee emptied our pockets for the metal detector(which i still think is a little over protective but whatever) and jumped in. Of course 5 steps in the door austin knew people. we sat and talked to that gang and then took a seat on the steps till sonia and pam walked in about 5-10 minutes later. The music and crowd wasnt as hot as last time but it was still damn good. we danced made fools of ourselves and just had fun till late. I finally got to meet kelly in person and met cherry, anna and their friends as well. It was pretty interesting. we headed out to eat at ihop (house of pies was to small for our group). It was fun we sat back talked politics and other weird topics. i got to know cherry and anna better. (turns out cherry knew me from middle school and ended up living in my neighborhood for a long time and we didnt know it, crazy stuff heheh) either way it was a blast and well worth the exhaustion in the mornin.

I always miss the 80s night crowd the night after. even though theyve been different each time i've enjoyed them so much. Its so layed back yet chaotic. God bless the summer nights
