In the past three days, so much has changed. What started out as the Doctor showing her and Rory around the Under-Gallery, had turned out to be the worst mistake of his life. The Doctor had been summoned by UNIT when a new piece had shown up. A mirror. Something, up until a few days ago, Amy couldn’t see as causing any harm. It happened so suddenly, Amy and Rory had gone off in a different direction than the Doctor while he stayed behind and examined the mirror more closely. When they had come back, they were immediately attacked by the Doctor. With the help of some UNIT soldiers who had been standing guard, they were able to restrain him.
It was late at night, and the room she and Rory were sharing on the base of UNIT was lit up by Amy’s computer screen. Not much was known about the mirror, which is why they had called the Doctor in. With him out of commission, Amy saw it as her responsibility to find out as much about this mirror as possible. She hadn’t slept much in the past couple of days, and she wasn’t going to let something like that stop her. The sooner they figured out how to break whatever curse it had placed on the Doctor, the better. Amy hadn’t been able to see the Doctor, or know how his condition was, but she gathered he was only getting worse.
Gnawing on the side of her nail, Amy scrolled through old news articles, trying to piece together what this mirror was exactly. It had claimed the lives of quite a few people over the past few centuries and it filled Amy with dread to think the Doctor was next.
