His smile widens as it always does when Amy's around. "You - you look lovely."
With a nervous little shake of his head, Rory seems to remember he has flowers for her, thrusts them forward, pulling a face at the way they flop.
"They uhm - I thought they'd survive the way back but they sort of didn't. I'm sorry, it was a stupid idea."

Yanking the door open for her and trying to remember to not be such an idiot, still holding on to the flowers. He should remember that this is Amy, that she's been his friend for years. But the date has him panicked.

"Thanks." She said with a small laugh before stepping through the threshold. Greeted by the owner, Amy smiled politely before he asked if it was just the two of them. "Em, yes." She said, side eying Rory for a moment before following him to their table. Scooting into the booth, Amy put her bag on the table, leaving the option for Rory to sit next to her or across from her up to him.
