So I'm sittin outside the financial aid office at mcc and who wanders up to my table but, you guessed it-- Panther!
The first words out of his mouth were "I guess I'm becoming a legend."
At first I'm thinkin he's onto TDS and is going to pull the Tiger Death Kick on me (that's what I said) for all the undo attention he has received of late.
It turns out he was just talking about the success of his new 2-song cd he says he's been selling around campus.
It seems he overheard some kid singing the lyrics to his song "14 carat Gold" in the mcc cafeteria and feels this promotes him to Legend status.
I, of course, did not let on that he was a legend way before his new cd had garnered such reception amongst the community college lunchtime set.
Besides his success in the musical arena, Panther also disclosed that he has launched a new business venture: Hand-washing cars! Only $15! And that includes vacuuming the interior.
Be sure to ask him about his new cd when you see him - 2 songs for $5 - you just can't go wrong.
