so... it's been a few days since a morter hit the compound.

i was in the chow hall finishing my breakfast when it blew up inside the perimeter. it was way off in the distance, but it still shook the massive building of the chow hall a little. no one was hurt from the pathetic attack... so don't be worried too much.

the good guys have been firing rounds at night. thunderous booms shake my hooch as the outgoing rounds go down range.

the sergeant major of the Stryker Brigade from the 25th ID gave a speech the other day. he was a really good motivational speaker. he was telling us of some jerkoff that was firing morters at them from his back yard. they sent out a warning telling the numbnuts to stop. apparently his brain didn't work, because he kept firing. well, needless to say his back yard, along with his house and his body, no longer exists. that's the way it should be...

for some reason i have the feeling that the war is going to end while i am here... it seems that over time we keep gaining more and more control over the country... it's only a matter of time before there's nowhere else to run for these smelly bastards (and yes... most Arabs really are smelly for some reason... no matter how much they may bathe... they stink... that is no lie... they're like a Muslim version of a French Person).

well, i must depart... farewell...

Over and Out,
Jayson
