Job Front
Now that all the hustle & bustle is over for awhile, my job search is on. I called a handful of places. Lennonheads - the place I originally interviewed for when I got out of school - is hiring again, so I think I might send an app. their way. I also have some other places in mind as well.
In addition to that I finally bit the bullet and sent an email to the director of my school about becoming an instructor. They offered me 2 positions last year, but I passed on them because everyone I really liked was leaving. I've given it some more thought and it would be a great, secure job and I know I'd be good at it. Monsi - my old nail instructor - still teaches there and she really wants me to work with her. Only con is a 2 year contract I have to sign. Ugh - no fun. And I really was not a fan of the new instructors in the esthiology department. I can't imagine having to work under them. Well... if I was a nail instructor I'd just be working under Monsi - that would be fun.... but I love esti. so much more.
We'll see how things go. My life is just in a funk now and I want everything to change. Don't get me wrong, things are great; I just want something different. I want a new job, a new place, just new things in general. I'm tired of feeling like I'm at a standstill.
