Well this post is pretty same as the old one, but I can't edit that one so I've decided to post it via this team account.
RECRUITMENT POST
We need:
1. TRANSLATOR
Function: Translate videos from Japanese to English
Requirements:
- Must know intermediate to advanced Japanese (passing JLPT N4 or higher is a plus! すげえな～)
indicate level and forte (spoken or written Japanese) so we'll know which project we will assign you to
2. K-TIMER
Function: Set the timing/duration of karaoke subs (for song performances), per syllable
Requirement:
- Uses Aegisub
3. SFX MAKER/K-EFFECTS MAKER
Function: Create effects on how the karaoke subs will turn out
Requirements:
- Uses Aegisub
- Must be knowledgeable on programming and how to apply it on creating karaoke effects
- Must make OWN effects and must not copy from other people's work
4. TIMER (EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED)
Function: Set the timing/duration of the translation
Requirements:
- Uses Aegisub
- Must have at least a basic knowledge of spoken Japanese (to accurately know where to set the timing of the translations)
- Must have keen ears to follow speedy conversations of people in variety shows
- Must be able to devote time to timing videos with 1-hour duration or longer
5. ENCODER/UPLOADER
this comes as a set; you cannot encode only or upload only
Function: Encode raw and softsub to hardsubbed videos and upload them to the comm's file sharing account
Requirements:
- Uses VirtualDubMod or meGUI (or any other encoding program that the applicant is comfortable with, and is able to produce satisfactory results)
- Must have a stable Internet connection speed of 1 Mbps or higher
6. TYPESETTER (1 person for variety)
Function: Set position and style of text into the video; decide on styles of text for different series/projects
Requirements:
- Uses Aegisub
- Must know how to use the different tags for styling text (e.g.: \blur, \fad, \fs)
- Must have a sense on using appropriate fonts for sign typesetting
- Must be keen on accurately placing and orienting the text on the video
