shiny SHINee
In the midst of waiting for KAT-TUN new single to come out and them being active again on TV, i took a peek at K-Pop and their humongous amount of idol groups.
Then i came across this one group and now i think i've started to fall for them. But they're ALL younger than me!! making me feel like a pedo already (T__T)
i present to you ....... SHINee !!!
They call themselves a contemporary band, meaning they have contemporary music (sort of urban dance), contemporary clothing style (shiny colors and skinny jeans), and contemporary concept as a whole. Well, as i don't really know what other idol groups in K-Pop are like, i can't say that their claim of being contemporary is true XD
So, how did i got to know them? From their tv show, Hello Baby, where they babysat a 4-year-old baby boy named Yoo Geun. SHINee members, who are still kids themselves, became appa (dad) for 3 months.

The show was hilarious and sweet. They're all really good in communicating with the kid, like he's their own son. Playing with him, feeding him, put him in bed to sleep, teaching him bout all sort of things a 4-year-old should know like alphabets, colors etc.
In the show, they taught him the dancing from one of their song, Ring Ding Dong, for fun. And this was how i got to know their music. I got curious everytime they started humming the chorus so i searched and found it on YouTube. The MV was nice, very cool, well anything with dark atmosphere in it always gets my approval lol. But the song itself was just not my thing though i gotta admit that the melody already stucked in my mind since i heard them singing it to Yoo Geun (O_O)!
From there i started to search their other songs, then i found Hello. Now this what got me into them. I really love the melody and the beat from the very first time i listen to it, especially the chorus part. I'm so in love with this song now, been replaying it in my playlist for days (^__^)
So far, i only had 6 of their songs: Hello, Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer, Juliette, Love Like Oxygen, and Noona you're so pretty (Replay). They all suit my taste, except for Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer but i think it won't take long for me to also liking these two songs XD.
I don't think i'll be their hardcore fan like i am towards KAT-TUN and Eito, but it's quite refreshing to go to other fandom and get to know other groups with different color than i usually know. A pretty interesting experience (^_^)
