Sales and such
I made my first ever international sale today. Honestly I'm a little terrified. I've never shipped overseas. Did I undercharge her for the merch? Will she get hit with extra charges when it arrives? Is USPS an okay form of shipping? DHL, FedEx, and UPS are all far too expensive, especially since I only charged her $12 to ship to Australia. I'm glad I got an international sale, and I'm glad I'm going to learn about shipping overseas. I may be scared, but even if I undercharged her, I'm getting a good learning experience from it.
I'm working on a commission right now. Its going slower than I had hoped, partially because of the heat. Its been so hot lately and I don't (yet) have an AC unit in my craft room. But Tabatha just got one for free and they're letting me have it! I'm so happy. But we can't install it until Joe gets home.
Overall life has been pretty good. I didn't attend Joe's brother's wedding because I really don't like the guy. He's an ass to me all of the time, treats other people like garbage, and basically acts like a spoiled little douche. I figure I could be doing better things with my time than spending five days in MI watching everyone be at his beck and call, and then sitting through a 30+ minute overly religious ceremony only to arrive at a dry reception. Ew, nothanks.
Anyway back to work! Its hot but I have a fan. I'll get as much as I can done today before the Litha get together tonight!
