Characters: Kirihara Akaya & Marui Bunta
Rating: PG to PG-13 I'll guess. It's nowhere near as bad as the level 5 party at least
Place: Mainly Kiri's apartment
Time: A few days before White Day
Summary: They do their cards for White Day together and make plans for Marui to spend the time leading up to the holiday with Kiri
Marui walked towards Akaya’s apartment, arms full of that chocolate, that he just knew they were giving out just to torture him. He was sure they knew about him and his gigantic sweet-tooth. Coming up to the younger’s door, he realized that with his arms full of chocolate, he couldn’t use his hands to knock on it. He knocked with his knee instead, snorting when it sounded a bit funny, and not very clear at all. “Akaya~” he called. “Open the door~”
He was going to ignore the knocking until he heard the voice. At the sound of Marui, Akaya practically flew over to the door and threw it open. “Hands full?” He asked, reaching to take some of the chocolates. “Mine’s all sitting on the table,” he added, leading the way into his apartment.
Hands full? Yeah, that was the least you could say. Marui walked in through the door, grinning at the younger boy as he walked over to the table and dumping the contents in his arms next to Akaya’s chocolates. “Let’s get these done,” he pointed over his shoulder where he now stood leaning against the edge of the table, “and dump them in my room so I won’t eat them.”
Akaya looked at the huge pile of chocolate. It was a good thing he was more of a sweets fan, not a chocolate fan. “Yeah, get them over with and then we can forget about them until White Day.” He was okay with keeping Marui away from all that chocolate. Very much okay with it.
“Wouldn’t want to get punished for eating it up.” Marui poked at the chocolate. They looked like they were teasing him. It was as if they were saying ”Eat us, eat us~”, even though they knew he wasn’t allowed to. It was possible for them to do that, yes. Marui was convinced of that. He moved to sit on a chair by the table, looking at Akaya. “Got any pens? In fun colours or anything.”
“Just black,” Akaya answered. That was all he needed for schoolwork after all. Besides, it wasn’t like he was going to put that much effort into this. There were too many of them for him to really care about them more than just getting them done. He grabbed his bag and sat down across from the redhead.
“That’s fine.” Marui pulled up a leg beneath him where he sat. Black would do just fine. He watched as the younger got his bag, and the redhead pulled at his slips of paper that they were to sign.
Akaya handed over one of the pens he’d pulled out. “So many pieces of paper,” he groaned, looking at the pile.
“Not too many.” Marui laughed, accepting the pen. But he’d probably refuse to write his own name for a while after this. He took one of the papers, writing his name on it. It shouldn’t take too much time to do this. At least he hoped so. The sooner he couldn’t see the forbidden chocolate the better.
“Think I’d get in trouble if I just scribbled my name on all of these?” Akaya frowned. The thought of writing his own name all nice and neat on all of these sounded like torture. Who cared if it was legible? He smiled a little at seeing the tortured look on Marui’s face. The guy’d have plenty of chocolate soon enough.
“Probably. But if you half scribble it, maybe?” He tapped the end of the pen against his lips, pouting down at the pieces of paper. It would be faster. But then, Akaya’s name was a bit more complicated to write, he guessed. Several more lines, so it would take longer time to write it out all neat and proper.
Akaya grinned. “Can’t yell at me if I have messy handwriting.” He glanced up at Marui, seeing the pout. He wanted to do something about it, make it go away and whatnot.
“Nope.” Marui’s pout transformed into a grin as he looked up at his boyfriend for a moment before turning back to the notes, signing another one.
“Why are there so many?” Akaya groaned after he’d finished his tenth. He set his head on the table, not wanting to write anymore. This was stupid. Why’d they have to do this again?
Marui let out a quiet laugh as Akaya rested his head against the tabletop. He reached over to poke the younger at the nose. “Cheer up. Let’s just get these done with, so we don’t have to think about it anymore later.”
“You just want it all done so you can lock up this chocolate and not have to look at it until White Day,” Akaya pointed out, lifting his head a little to look at Marui.
“Yeah, so?” Marui shrugged, brushing Akaya’s bangs out of the younger’s face. “Don’t you want to get it over with? We could do something fun afterwards.”
“Like what?” Akaya perked up, sitting up. He had an innocent look on his face. The thought of having a goal, something to work towards to get these slips of paper over with was helpful though. He picked up his pen, working on the next one while waiting to hear Marui’s answer.
Marui smiled at the reaction. “Like, you know..” He felt his cheeks heat up. “kissing?”
His boyfriend was turning that adorable shade of pink again. Akaya smirked. “You just want me, Bunta,” he teased.
Marui’s face went quite a few shades darker at that. He leaned his chin against his palm, hand covering up his mouth to try and hide what he was sure was one gigantic stupid smile.
Yes! There was that awesome dark red that was absolutely awesome to see. Akaya didn’t bother hiding his pleased grin. He reached over and poked the other guy’s forehead. “Whatcha thinking, Bunta?”
“Nothing.” Marui said, voice muffled behind his hand. “Just that.. you seem to like to make me blush, don’t you?” That weird fetish again. Because Marui was convinced that it was totally a fetish that Akaya didn’t even care to hide.
“You’re cute when you blush,” Akaya answered matter-of-factually.
Marui pouted slightly behind his hand, but he was still smiling. “So you say..” He removed his hand, signing another card.
Finishing another set of five cards, Akaya looked up. “I do say because its true.” Of all people, he would be the one to best decide that Marui was cutest when blushing. Getting a mischievous grin on his face, he grabbed one of Marui’s finished slips of paper and started doodling in the corner of it.
“Oi!” Marui reached to grab the card back, but couldn’t reach it while sitting down. In the end, he got hold of it, but he was practically lying on the table instead, in the middle of chocolate and cards.
Akaya pouted, looking over at the card he’d been doodling on. “You almost ruined my tennis rackets,” he said, sounding hurt.
“Why’re you even drawing on my cards and not your own?” Marui asked, giving a slight laugh. He kicked a bit with his legs, pulling himself closer towards Akaya by the help of his elbows. “You’re one little weirdo.” He took one of Akaya’s cards, drawing small pieces of candy on it. “Ha~i, now you can have it back~”
“Seems like a good idea,” Akaya answered. “Though now I can’t do anything with you sprawled across the table...”
“Yes you can.” Marui reached for a few of the cards, handing them to the younger boy. “See?” Though for himself to sign his own cards.. was perhaps a little harder.
“Wanna make it race?” Akaya suggested as he wrote his name on one of the slips. “First one done wins...” well, he had no idea what the winner would get but he was sure they could think of something. He scrawled his name on another slip, his competitiveness kicking in.
“Hey! That’s cheating!” Marui crawled off the table, starting to write his name on the notes. He had already signed quite a lot of them and he was quick at writing.
Just a while later he was done with his share of cards. “Hah! I won!”
Akaya pouted as he finished writing his name on his final card. “So what does the winner want?” He asked.
“Hmm..” Marui thought for a while, before standing up and walking over to where Akaya was sitting. He sat down in Akaya’s lap. “This will do just perfectly.” He said, kissing the younger boy full on the lips.
“I can live with that,” Akaya grinned. “Though I thought that was my prize for doing all those cards...”
“Two in one.” Marui claimed, before he let their lips lock again. Besides, they were done now, so they didn’t have to worry about the cards anymore.
“Think we should go put these up?” Akaya asked, breaking the kiss again. Get the cards and chocolates safely put up and out of sight, out of mind.
“Sure..” He’d rather keep himself busy with Akaya, but getting those out of the way would do for now. There was still all weekend left.
Akaya placed a soft kiss on Marui’s lips, blushing. “And then we don’t have to deal with them until White Day...”
“I’m all for that..” But Akaya was distracting him, such a soft kiss only teased him. Cheeks tinted red, he got off Akaya’s lap. “Let’s put these away.”
Akaya rounded up his chocolates. After all, he might as well store his over at the older boy’s place too. Less of a temptation and all. “Lead the way.” Down to the floor of quiet and boringness.
“Let’s a-go!” Marui grinned, grabbing his own chocolates and heading for the door. He stopped there, thinking about how to open it. He pushed the handle down by the knee, pushing the door open.
Akaya pushed the door closed with his foot. “I don’t think I’ve actually been to your apartment yet.”
Marui blinked a bit at that. Oh, right, he really hadn’t. It was sort of weird that they had lived here for a while now, yet they hadn’t really been to each other’s rooms. He laughed. “Good thing you’re getting to do that now, then.”
“For a whole, like, 5 minutes before you move into my place for the weekend,” Akaya laughed. “And maybe another 5 minutes later when we go to get these things for the White Day thing.”
“You’ll get more chances.” Marui laughed as well. “We’ll be living here for some time, after all.”
It didn’t take long for them to get to Marui’s floor, and the redhead struggled to get the door open, but finally managed. When leaving a room with your arms full it was practical that the door opened outwards, but not the other way around. “Welcome in~” He walked over to the table, dumping all the chocolates and notes on it.
“Sure I will,” Akaya said, rolling his eyes. “That is, if you don’t just end up basically moving into my room to escape this floor’s quiet dullness.” He’d definitely gotten the better pick of their two rooms. His floor was active and full of fun people. Not too crazy but just the right amount of it to be fun.
“So if I do, you won’t let go of those?” Marui snickered, nodding towards the chocolates. “They’re gonna melt and you’re gonna get in trouble.” he teased.
Akaya gave the older boy a look and dumped his own pile of chocolates and cards on the table next to Marui’s pile. “Happy now?” He asked.
“Yup.” Marui nodded. “Are we going right back or you want a look around first?” Not that the room itself was that different from any other room, though.
“You want to grab your things?” The younger asked. He glanced around. “Hey, this means you’ll get to cook for me!”
“Sure.” Marui grinned, going over to grab a bag to fill with some clothes and a few other things. “You know what,” he started, pulling a few clothes out of the wardrobe, that was really just a big mess, “I could do that.” It was fun to cook, anyway. He walked over to the bathroom to get some of the things in there.
“Yes!” Akaya cheered, probably the loudest thing to have ever happened on the floor. He wandered over to the window and looked out. “This is going to be the best weekend!”
“Agreed!” Marui called from the bathroom, soon coming out again. “So you like the room? The only downer is that everyone’s so quiet.”
“Not bad,” Akaya nodded. “Your floor’s way too quiet though. You should spend more time up on my floor.”
“Yeah. It’s like I’m the only one on the floor all the time.” Sure didn’t help him from feeling lonely. “So I’ll come stay over with you as often as possible.” He picked out some candy to take with him. Couldn’t go without them, could he? “So, I’m all done for now.” he stood up from where he sat by the box he stored candy in.
“Can’t resist the sweets, can you?” Akaya smirked, seeing the candy. “My floor’s better.” He didn’t mind the thought of Marui being upstairs with him all the time. Meant he wouldn’t be bored.
“It’s sweets.” Marui nodded. That explained everything, really. “Your floor’s much better.” He zipped up the bag, slinging it over his shoulder. He walked over to Akaya. “Come on. Let’s go back up.”
“Leading the way,” Akaya said as he was already halfway out the door. “You coming or what?”
“Hey.” Marui ran up to him, closing the door after them. “Don’t go and just run~”
“Why not?” Akaya asked, running for the stairs. They sucked but he knew he could run them faster than it’d take to get in the elevator and take it up, especially when he was able to take the stairs two at a time. “Race you!”
“Oi! That’s cheating!” Marui called out, running after him in the stairs. There was no way he’d win this one, but that wouldn’t stop him from trying.
“No it’s not,” Akaya yelled back as he hit his floor. He sprinted towards his door.
Marui hurried after, running as fast as he could but still not managing to catch up. Instead, when he did reach the door, he didn’t stop fast enough, crashing right into Akaya. “Ooouch. Sorry...”
“Smooth move,” Akaya grumbled from where he’d been smooshed into the door. Shaking his head, he opened it and slipped inside, figuring Marui’d follow pursuit.
Marui followed, rubbing his nose. Really, what was with all this nose-abuse. He always seemed to hit it one way or the other. He set his bag down at Akaya’s couch.
Akaya just looked around his apartment, not really sure of what to do now. “So, yeah,” he waved, “this is my apartment. Nothing special obviously.”
Marui laughed, walking up to Akaya and wrapping his arms around him. He locked his fingers behind his boyfriend’s back. “So.. Where did we stop?” he asked, a playful expression on his face. “Ah, right. I won. But I guess since you won the race, you could get some sort of reward, too.”
“Well, what kind of reward do I get?” Akaya asked, grinning. “Hmm?” He’d let Marui decide on what it’d be. Not like it wouldn’t end up being a reward for them both anyway...
Marui pouted slightly. He knew that Akaya was just teasing him. He reached up to kiss Akaya on the cheek. “Something more than that?” he started to smile instead.
“Doesn’t seem fair. You got a kiss on the lips,” he pouted. “Not at all fair if you ask me.” Akaya gave puppy dog eyes.
Marui reached up to ruffle the younger’s hair. “You’re not listening at all, are you? I said ‘something more’ than that kiss you just got.”
“You say that but there’s been nothing else so far,” Akaya pouted.
The redhead laughed. “Ah, you’ll see~” With that, he pressed his lips against Akaya’s in an intense kiss.
Akaya moaned softly in response, at least he did once he got over his surprise, hands reaching around to grip the back of the older boy’s shirt.
Marui kept close to his boyfriend, hands tousling Akaya’s already messy hair. He wanted Akaya to response to the kiss as well.
Biting softly on the older boy’s bottom lip, Akaya gave a little smirk. “Better,” he said, breaking for air.
Marui smiled. “Good.” he said, letting his arms wrap around the other boy again.
Akaya shuffled, trying to move towards his couch. His knees were shaking a little and he wondered if they’d be able to hold him up. “Sempai,” he whispered in the older boy’s ear.
Marui shuddered at the voice in his ear, and followed Akaya towards the couch. He let out a tiny startled sound as they fell back on it.
Akaya squirmed a little, trying to adjust into a more comfortable position so that he wasn’t lying directly on top of the older boy. He gave a soft kiss, trying to keep the stupid, silly grin off his face.
The redhead gazed up at Akaya through half lidded eyes, smiling at him. He reached up a hand to comb through the younger’s hair, pushing him down slightly to kiss him.
“Can you move a little?” Akaya asked. There was one thing that’d sucked about how they’d fallen. His hands had ended up trapped underneath the older guy and it was uncomfortable. Plus, there were other things he thought he could maybe use his hands for.
“Sure..” Marui moved so that Akaya could get his arms free and to get them both more comfortable.
“Freedom!” The younger cheered, grinning widely. He wiggled his fingers happily, bending his head down to give Marui a sloppy kiss.
Marui let out a laugh at Akaya’s call, answering the kiss. His hands travelled down to rest at Akaya’s back, making sure that he wouldn’t accidentially tickle the younger boy as he did.
Hands free, Akaya put them on either side of Marui’s head. Thanking all the strength conditioning he’d been put through for tennis, he lifted himself up a little so he wasn’t lying with all his weight on top the older boy. Plus, it was hard to smirk mischievously when you were laying on someone. It was much more effective when you could actually look down at them.
Marui stared up at Akaya. What was with that smirk? He blinked a few times, deciding that in the end, he didn’t really care all that much, as long as he was there.
Akaya bent his head down as if he were going to go to kiss the older boy. And then he did something completely unexpected. He licked the guy’s cheek instead.
The redhead let out a small startled sound at the tongue on his cheek. He had expected a kiss, but the younger had to go and do something else. Marui’s cheeks tinted pink.
He laughed at the sound, his arms shaking and unable to hold him up when Akaya was in the midst of cracking up. He fell back onto the older boy. “That was awesome.”
Marui made another sound as Akaya landed on him. “What was?” he asked.
“That noise you made,” Akaya laughed right in Marui’s ear. “You were so not expecting that at all.” He sounded much too pleased with himself.
Marui’s cheeks went a few shades of darker pink at that. “How would I’ve expected that? You licked me!”
“Want me to lick you again?” Akaya asked, not at all noticing the suggestive tone he’d used.
Marui on the other hand, noticed and his face went scarlet. “That- you-” he stuttered. Was he doing it on purpose or was he just imagining things? He didn’t feel like he was.
“What?” The younger looked down at his boyfriend expectantly.
“You’re- that’s-” Marui pouted up at the other boy. “You’ve got no idea just how wrong that sounded just now, do you?” His cheeks did nothing but deepen in shade.
Akaya shook his head. “It sounded wrong?” But all he said was he’d lick the guy again. There was nothing wrong or strange about licking people.
“Yep, it sounded weird. With the tone you used.” So he didn’t do it on purpose, it seemed. But with the many times that Akaya’s voice just went.. like that, he couldn’t be sure.
“What tone?” This was one of the times when he was genuinely confused. Okay, some times he’d teased and spoke one way because he knew it’s make Marui go red. But it wasn’t like he really tried on purpose. It just kind of happened.
“A certain one.. makes you sound perverted..” He didn’t know any better way to describe it, really. He didn’t have anything against that tone, though.. no, not at all.
“Or maybe your mind’s just dirty.” Akaya grinned. “Think that might be your problem?”
“Maybe..” Marui gave it a thought. “But that’s not really a problem, right? Or does it bother you?”
“Why would it bother me?” After all, that meant he got to see Marui go all those awesome and adorable shades of red.
“Dunno. Just asking.” Marui’s hands slipped up to play with the hair at the nape of Akaya’s neck. “That’s good.”
“You trying to scare me away?” Akaya asked. “Because that’s not working too well.”
“Why’d I want to scare you away when we took such time to get together?” Marui let out a question of his own. “Now put me and my dirty mind to ease and kiss me or something.” He figured he could be at least a little bit demanding, after all, they had just been talking for a while now. Not that it was a long while, but was he just going to stay there on top of him just talking for the rest of the day?
Smirking, Akaya partially gave in to the older boy’s demands. He nuzzled the guy’s neck, hands moving up to play with the soft red hair. “Better?”
Marui gave out a soft sigh at the nuzzle and the hands in his hair. He nodded. “Better..”
“So greedy.” His lips were on the guy’s neck as he said the words. “Guess it’s a good thing you’re my Bunta.”
“Mmm..” The redhead hummed in agreement, small shudders running down his spine as Akaya’s lips moved against his neck.
A loud angry growl filled the room. Akaya went red. “My stomach,” he said, glad he had his face hidden in Marui’s neck. This...this was embarrassing.
Marui laughed a bit. Usually it would be his own stomach interrupting things at any time. “Didn’t eat any breakfast or what?” He would have poked the other on his nose if he could have. Instead, he gave a teasing grin. “Hungry?”
“No, no breakfast,” Akaya answered, voice still muffled because he was hiding his face in the older guy’s neck. He wasn’t much of a breakfast fan and usually only ate something like a protein or a breakfast bar in the mornings.
“Bad boy.” Marui’s hand sneaked up to ruffle the younger’s hair. “Breakfast’s important, you know.” Well, he himself took any opportunity to eat.
“I’d rather sleep.” Sleep was more important in Akaya’s book. And even if he could just fall asleep the moment he decided he wanted to sleep, that didn’t mean he could just wake up that easily.
“But still.” But he agreed that sleep was good, too. “Should eat something.”
“I do eat something,” Akaya argued. “Like, a breakfast bar or something usually. Sometimes I eat a couple of them.”
“Those doesn’t count.” Marui pointed out. At least not in his opinion. His eyes lit up as he thought of something. “Would you eat if I made you breakfast?”
“Of course!” Akaya brightened up, excited at the thought. “Your food was awesome.” And it looked like he might just have a personal chef after all. Success!
“Of course. I’m a genius after all.” The redhead grinned. “Meaning that I’m always awesome.”
Akaya shook his head. “Keep telling yourself that...” Rolling over, he let himself fall to the floor. Couldn’t get food if he had Marui pinned beneath him after all. He sat up and grinned. “So, gonna feed me?”
“I will.” Marui sat up, looking down to where Akaya was sitting. “You’ll have to eat yourself though. I’m just cooking. Because as far as I know, you do know how to eat.” he teased, standing up and wandering over to the kitchen.
Akaya stood, following the redhead into the kitchen. It was basically the first time he’d gone into the area. There were some boxes of snacks and some drinks in the fridge. A couple of packets of instant ramen. “Whatcha gonna make?”
Marui waited with giving an answer as he looked through fridge, freezer and everywhere else where there could possibly be anything that he could make breakfast of. “You know.. it’s almost empty here..”
“Told you I can’t cook,” Akaya reminded the guy. “There’s a reason I eat at the cafe downstairs all the time.” He wasn’t even sure he had anything to cook with.
“I may be a genius, but not even I can make food out of nothing.” Marui blinked, looking towards the younger from where he stood. “So I guess you’ll have to do some shopping first. Or I can’t make you anything.”
“But shopping’s boring,” Akaya whined. Plus, he had no idea what he’d even need to buy. “Can’t you just do it?” Especially since Marui would be the one cooking anyway.
“No way.” Marui pinched his boyfriend’s nose lightly. “At least you could come with me, if it’s you that I’m gonna cook for.”
“I guess I can do that,” Akaya agreed, not fighting it. It was true. He might as well come along. And it really wasn’t like he had anything better to do anyway.
“D’you want to do it now or later?” the redhead asked. They had all that was left of the week free to do whatever they wanted, being all done with that chocolate and all.
His stomach growled again and Akaya gave a sheepish laugh. “Might as well do it now and get it over with.”
“Okay.” Marui rummaged through the bag he had brought, pulling out his jacket and putting it on. “Come on~” he said, as he pulled out a muffler as well. This bag was convenient. Much more things fit than it looked like.
Akaya grabbed his coat and they were off.
