she is still seeing casidy and she said they are taking his mother to dinner. they didn't show it. but mention it. i mean why is she with him, he was rude to her in 1st season and this season. and he slept with prostitute. she should know better. with the guy who sleeps with hookers. tired of her making us believe that she is straight on show. she told us once. why keep bringing up boyfriends. producers sucks. they made this show worst. i know all of you know that. i still hope for this show. thinking they'll bring alex back. and i also don't like this new ADA.
There's a lot of things they haven't shown us, including any real sense of attraction between those two. Their relationship looks extremely circumstantial, like let's call a truce and screw, cause for a pair of middle aged folks we're in pretty good shape.
can't these producers see that there is no attraction. i think next season ratings are going to be worst then this season. in season finale i think rollins getting shot. hope she doesn't die.
This episode (Girl Dishonored) was one of the most powerful, well written episodes in the last 5 years, it might even rank up there as one of the top 10 or 20 of the entire series. It's message was palpable. The emotions it engendered in me were real.
SVU, with that kind of writing, should not be cancelled. I may not like the Olivia storyline, but that storyline was literally 30 seconds out of 42 minutes of tremendous television.
Last week's ep (the one this thread is discussing) in which Olivia mentions at the very beginning that she's meeting Cassidy's mom. That part was dumb, I will absolutely agree, but the rest of the ep was phenomenal and an episode people should watch.
No, not for that plot they didn't. However, a TV show that does as much good as this one, that's not enough reason to cancel it. Also, if it had been Alex they had mentioned, we would have been all "THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER" ... it would have been just as unnecessary, but our reactions would have been different. Just sayin.
I have to quibble on one point: I do believe the show (back in the ice ages) actually laid down a much better premise for Liv and Alex being involved, gave their dynamic a lot more chemistry than it ever has for Liv with Cassidy. That relationship just seems slapped together of late. Back in S1 he was in puppy love and she had short term beer goggles it seemed. And now they just seem to have known each other a long time, like since way back in S1. I just don't know what the basis of their current relationship is or why it's grown to dining with Ma.
to their relationship doesn't make sense. s1 it was drunken sex. after all the season he comes back for couple of epi. and she acts like she is love. i just tired of her love life. so far all of her boyfriends have been mean to her.
(I honestly haven't watched SVU since before the Mike Tyson episode. I'm glad I bowed out when I did.)

I say kudos to SVU for this episode.
