tah - how cute!

I really, really like that you made James take off his shoes when he fell in the water. My grandpa died long before I knew him because he was trying to save me drowning father (before I was born) with his shoes on. My papa was saved but grandpa sunk under the weight of his shoes and clothes.

So I guess what I'm saying is go you for saving James' life!

*blush* Thank you!

I was thinking of when Elizabeth fell in the water and Jack had to take her dress off to keep it from sinking them. It seemed to make sense that the same went for James' coat and I've heard that it's a good idea to kick your shoes off if you fall into water.

As if I would let the dear Commodore die! Unless I wanted him to haunt Jack... *smirk*

It's nice that they aren't at it like bunnies straight away, makes sense it would take a bit more before they get to that. And all that UST ready to burst ::G:: No objections to a sequel where things get sweaty, though :-)
It was a bit strange with Norrie so easily talking about becoming a pirate. But maybe he has seen enough former Navy hanged for piracy to know how fine a line it can be. Still, his vehemence on pirates sits a bit uneasy with him being so ready to embrace it.

No, as fun as that would have been, I couldn't see it happening. Partly because Norrington didn't feel like it.

I'm already planning a sequel, no fear of that.

He said it more in jest, but please note that he emphasize 'may'. It's not a certainty. He's more likely to turn privateer. Though Jack will tease him about 'turning pirate'.
