It's been cloudy all day, but now the sun is just sort of shining through as it sets, and the lighting is very pretty. Washed out and yellow, comfortable unless you're facing the way I'm facing. Kind of hard to read the screen (I'm outside) but I don't want to go back inside and miss it. It didn't rain, though for a while I thought it might. Shame. I did end up learning my way around campus today -- I spent most of the afternoon wandering around because I didn't want to take the bus home, and I found some important things, like the health office and the counseling office and where to get only slightly overpriced caffeine.
And now I've got history in forty-five minutes, for which I forgot to do the reading again, so I'll have to improvise. Thankfully, I seem to be at least half again as smart as almost everyone in the room (which may be being generous, but to whom I'm not sure) and don't need to do much except give one thought-out answer and smile pretty the rest of the time. Yeah, I have amazing study habits.
I might just spend that time working on my satire for English, which I will actually post, because it is a grand idea and if I manage to get it done right will make up for all the good-writer points I lost with my last paper.
