With what appears to be a medical kit next to her.

And now she's digging into the ground in front of her--

[Y! Except this superhero isn't exactly sure he wanted to see his spectacle. Hope Takano doesn't mind seeing a giant, flying beetle-like guy hovering over her garden.]

[occultnurse]

[Actually, aside from freaking her out a little, she finds that fascinating. When said beetle-like guy comes hovering by, she'll look up at him, fairly surprised. In front of her looks to be the result of simply digging in the dirt, but ... it almost looks like there's flesh and blood underneath said dirt.

I'm a superhero. It's all part of the job.

[He doesn't catch what's under the dirt - not immediately, anyway - until he inspects the dirt closer. Physically reeling back, he stares from the dirt to her again before slowly folding his arms.] Now I think the question is... what were you doing?

[occultnurse]

A ... superhero? [What. She'd be less inclined to believe him if he weren't hovering around (literally), but that kind of entrance gives her little to no choice.

Regardless, at his question, she looks down at her work, then back up to him with a small smile.] Ah, I guess this looks suspicious, doesn't it? Hee hee hee ... It's nothing to worry about. I was simply ... digging around, and it seems I hit something underneath!

Yes m'am. [he shrugs] We're not just in comic books.

[He'd be more inclined to believe her if he just hadn't seen all that flesh and blood... if only because most people'd be freaking out about it.] ... "Something?" Yeah, I guess it must've been pretty horrific to see all that red stuff spew out of the ground.

[occultnurse]

That's hard to believe, but I guess I have no choice!

[She nods slightly, looking back down at the little mess she made.] It was a little surprising, I'll admit. I'm more interested in how this is all possible than scared, though!

[notaluchador]

[Such a creeper, Takano! The Blue Beetle visibly shudders as he holds a hand to his ear. The scarab - who only Jaime can hear - doesn't seem to like the mess either.]

Well, we are on the back of a whale. It makes sense that it'd get hurt if you scratch it long enough.

[Right on cue, there's the familiar AOOOOOOOOOH call from the whale. The Blue Beetle winces.]
