The best gift
So, I'm already seeing holiday gift suggestions popping up everywhere, from store-specific to "Best 25 gifts for her" or whatever. And I know that we will probably have to act earlier than usual for deliveries to arrive in time, at least in the US, where our postal system is currently floundering. But never, in the history of ever, have I seen a list of gifts for anyone where I felt like I knew someone who would want one of the items on there. Gifts for him, her, teens, moms - nope, nope, nope.
So I want to hear from YOU. What's the best gift you ever got? I don't mean in terms of "amazingly posh". I mean "suited you perfectly" or "a truly heartfelt gesture" or "I didn't know I needed one until I had it" - something like that. Could be something semi-nice or something very modest and low-cost but just ... I want suggestions from ACTUAL people, not the imaginary people some marketing department has shopped for.
